Give Your Books Another Life

Books outlive the shelves they begin on. Aftershelf acquires used books and personal libraries, identifies books worth preserving or reselling, and helps them find their next readers.

Whether you have a few boxes of books, a personal library, an academic collection, or books inherited from a family member, we can help.

Most ordinary collections can simply be transferred to us. Collections containing significant resale value may qualify for a consignment arrangement.

A reassurance

Not sure whether your books are valuable?

That's fine. Most people aren't. We can look through photographs or inspect a collection and determine whether it makes sense as an ordinary collection or whether some books deserve special treatment.

Send us photographs

Books are meant to have more than one life.

Send a few photographs. We'll take it from there.
